The Latin Jazz Module - Tabla : diverse and dynamic!

Tabla is very much a mainstream percussion instrument around the world and this course demonstrates just how far it has come. Bossanova, Samba and Swing are at the forefront as Sulekh shows you just how a Tabla can be used to accompany Latin Jazz music in an interesting and dynamic way. The course begins with the famous Partido Alto rhythm, the root of Bossanova, played on Tabla and progresses to Brazilian Samba and Jazz Swing. Jazz Vocals, Guitar and Tabla combine in a unique style in songs such as Girl from Ipenema, Autumn Leaves and Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
